On May 15, the “Joining Forces to Go Global · Connecting ASEAN” event, designed to empower enterprises in their international expansion, was successfully held at the Sanming · ZGC Science and Technology Park Innovation Center. This event was co-hosted by ZGC International and the Sanming · ZGC Science and Technology Park, with the support of UOB (China).
Leveraging the core strengths of ZGC International’s overseas innovation service network and the domestic regional collaboration network of ZGC Information Valley, and based on Sanming’s industrial characteristics, the event focused on supporting local enterprises in Sanming to navigate the ASEAN market. It created a platform for collaboration among government, businesses, and professional institutions from both China and abroad.

Seizing the Moment: Opportunities at Hand
As the benefits of RCEP continue to unfold, ASEAN has emerged as the primary destination for Chinese enterprises looking to expand internationally. Sanming, an established industrial hub in Fujian Province, is now focusing on developing emerging industries such as the low-altitude economy, new energy, medical devices, environmental technology, and biomedicine. Local businesses have demonstrated a strong willingness to go global and a robust demand for international expansion.

The event kicked off at the Sanming · ZGC Science and Technology Park Innovation Center
Mr. Wang Zhangsheng, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Haixi Sanming Ecological Industrial and Trade Zone, was present and delivered a speech. He emphasized that venturing into global markets is essential for enterprises looking to grow and enhance their capabilities. Although Sanming is inland, it must actively embrace the global market, rely on ZGC’s high-end platform resources, and bolster its confidence and determination to “go out”.
