At the beginning of its establishment, the Boston Innovation Center devoted its main energy to publicizing Beijing's science and technology innovation policy, Zhongguancun Group and various parks in the Boston area and relying on its own space. It successfully held a variety of activities including the 2018 Beijing North American Science and Technology Innovation Summit, the 2020 MIT Beijing Forum, and the Center's Z-Café series of science and technology innovation activities, gaining high attention and accumulating a wide audience. In 2020, the global epidemic spread to Boston, and the center responded to instructions from the city of Cambridge, Massachusetts and the United States to respond to the epidemic by officially closing the center's space and operations in March of that year and reopening the center from June 2021. During the period when all local activities and public gatherings were stopped, the center focused on dealing with the impact of the epidemic-related work, the center's publicity activities had to be suspended until 2021 to gradually restart, the past three years the center held a total of nearly 20 publicity activities. In particular, the center is still in the midst of the epidemic, with the support of the group company, to overcome the limitations of the reality, through the online way to successfully hold the 2020 MIT Forum, as well as the 2021 Zhongguancun Forum North American venue and other important events. The Washington Liaison Office also conducted and participated in nearly 20 outreach events during the epidemic, mainly online, with an audience of more than 1000 people.

March 2018 North American Science and Technology Innovation Summit in Beijing

The center was established in 2018. At the beginning of its establishment in 2019, it has vigorously undertaken a number of important international work contents in Beijing, including the Beijing Science and Technology Summit, the Beijing Municipal Bureau-level cadre training course, the talent docking of Beijing Daxing District's US-to-US project and the establishment of the Shanghai Office site. The launching ceremony of the Boston project of Peking University Medical Group has made important contributions to Beijing's scientific and technological innovation overseas chemical industry in North America.

Beijing 2018 North American Science and Technology Innovation Summit

On March 30, 2018, US Eastern Time, the "Beijing 2018 North American Science and Technology Innovation Summit" hosted by the Beijing Municipal Talent Work Leading Group and undertaken by the Zhongguancun Management Committee and Zhongguancun Development Group was grandly held in Boston, USA.
