In April 2021, the Nest Incubator Project, recommended and served by the Boston Center, which has been operating in Boston for many years by the Cui team from MIT, was officially launched in Zhongguancun Dongsheng Science Park.
As a long-term partner of Chaosheng Laboratory and an important service window linking Zhongguancun and Boston's science and technology innovation ecology, Boston Innovation Center learned from the exchange and cooperation with Chaosheng team that the other party intends to land in Beijing and help Zhongguancun's life science cluster construction. After that, the laboratory project was immediately included in the list of key service objects of the center, drawing a "road map" for the project to link Zhongguancun's high-quality innovation ecology as soon as possible ".
As early as the start-up stage of the Boston Innovation Center, we had a substantial contact with Nest on the construction of the Boston shared laboratory platform. Although the life science platform failed to meet the strict requirements for the site, it also opened a new page in our further service docking for Nest students. Because behind the innovation center is Zhongguancun's vast innovation industry layout and industry-university-research resource system, we have enough space to accommodate the growth dreams of outstanding projects and talents. Today, covering an area of nearly 3000 square meters and equipped with specialized experimental facilities and operation teams, the nest Beijing laboratory is ready to go. landing in the core area of Zhongguancun, they can not only create an inter-university and interdisciplinary exchange and cooperation platform, but also further promote more positive chemical reactions between the life science field and other cutting-edge industries in the region, continue to empower the leap process from industrial clusters to discipline clusters, and help China's original life science new forces. Behind the success of the "broker" linking Zhongguancun as a good nest student project, it also reflects the Boston Innovation Center's active adaptation to the current global innovation and collaboration pattern and its acceleration to adapt to the new trend of upgrading from a traditional incubator to a full-service "corporate steward. By giving full play to the platform and bridge advantages of the innovation center, it helps entrepreneurs to manage the search for venues, docking resources and more complicated demands, so that dreamers can focus on the cause itself and maximize their own value.
In the past three years, the center has introduced and successfully landed 19 high-quality entrepreneurial projects and 11 high-quality scientific and technological and entrepreneurial talents to Beijing. Including a number of MIT PhDs and researchers.
