1. Sino-German cross-border online training activities: breaking the information gap and transmitting cutting-edge voices

On May 18, 2020, Germany Center cooperated with Zhongguancun Software Park to realize the first cross-border live broadcast. The event invited Dr. Ding Hao, former chief researcher of ABB German Research Institute and chairman of IEEE Robotics and Automation Association's Human-Machine Collaboration and Flexible Manufacturing Technology Committee, to carry out cross-border live broadcast activities with the theme of "Human-Machine Integration". More than 1200 representatives of Zhongguancun enterprises participated in the live broadcast activities. Everyone had a heated discussion on the hot issues in the process of introducing German projects, cooperation with German institutions and "going to sea" of Chinese enterprises, achieve the desired effect.

In May 2021, under the guidance of Zhongguancun Development Group and under the leadership of Zhongguancun German Innovation Center, the German project landing China decision-making seminar was successfully held, with German experts and domestic park representatives on the topic of project landing all-round and multi-angle interaction and exchange.

2. Online recruitment activities:

In October 2020, the German Center planned and organized the theme activity of "riding the wind and waves, taking you home", and carried out the promotion of talent introduction policies, employment needs and online interaction for six talent introduction institutions and employers, including Zhongguancun Talent Association and Jingjin Electric. The activity aroused enthusiastic response in the circle of talents in Germany. More than 600 talents in Germany kept close contact with our center, and more than 250 talents in Germany participated in the online activity. According to the registration information, the participants covered (not limited to) all the TU9 members of Germany's elite universities and the German University of Technology alliance, mainly with masters and doctors, and their majors concentrated in Germany's strong and high-quality fields, such as intelligent manufacturing and biomedicine, at the same time, there are also outstanding talents from the field of economics and linguistics. It has further strengthened and stabilized the relationship with talents in Germany, greatly enhanced the reputation and appeal in the circle of talents in Germany, deepened and improved the working methods of cross-border talent introduction, and laid a solid foundation for the later work.

3.ITS You Innovation Coaching

In January 2020, the German Center held the first "ITS You-Zhongguancun Entrepreneurship Guidance Lesson 1" activity. Yang Chen, investment director of Zhongguancun Collaborative Innovation Fund Company, was specially invited to give lectures to representatives of Chinese entrepreneurship projects in Heidelberg. He focused on the common pain points, difficulties and coping methods of science and technology entrepreneurship projects, and introduced the support and encouragement policies and successful experiences of Zhongguancun Science Park for science and technology entrepreneurship projects and talents.

In March 2021, the German Center held the second ITS You Sino-German Mentor Joint Cross-border Entrepreneurship Counseling Activity. The event carried forward the spirit of Zhongguancun, injected Zhongguancun strength into international innovation projects, and attracted the active participation and enthusiastic exchanges of start-up teams and participants from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Australia and China.

4. Hold the first Zhongguancun Forum overseas branch venue

In 2021, the center successfully realized the first overseas sub-venue activity of Zhongguancun Forum, inviting experts from Hamburg, SAP, Karlsruhr University and other experts to share topics related to future urban development from different angles, and to realize synchronous connection with Beijing venue. The event was warmly praised by the guests and audience. They not only felt and learned the wonderful content of the Beijing venue, but also spoke highly of the organization of the German Center, which greatly increased the confidence of German partners in cooperation with Beijing.
